ClapOut for Android XR: terms and table rules

Effective 29 October 2026. These terms cover the ClapOut app for Android XR glasses and headsets (package com.hayeco.clapout), made and run by HAYE CO ("we", "us", "our"). By pressing ACCEPT on the app's "Play nice" screen, or by playing at a table with other people, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you play in a web browser, the website's terms of use apply there, with the same table rules.

The table rules

Be kind. ClapOut is a friendly game. Your name and your voice reach real people; keep both decent.
No hate or harassment. No bullying, threats, slurs, or hateful, sexual or discriminatory names or speech. Do not pretend to be another player, a ClapOut bot or us.
No cheating. No collusion, no exploiting bugs, no scripts or bots playing for you, and no tricks with Claps or rewards. Tell us about a bug instead.
Report and block. If someone breaks these rules, open their seat's menu and press REPORT or BLOCK. A blocked player stays silent for you. You can also mute any seat for yourself at any time.
Under 18: no voice with strangers. If you are under 18, voice at Quick Play tables stays off. You can still talk with friends at a table you host or join by its code.
Under 13: no online play. If you are under 13, play solo against the bots. Tables with other people are for 13 and over.

The app asks your age group once, before your first online table, and keeps the answer on your device. Please answer truthfully; the limits above are there to keep younger players safe.

What happens if the rules are broken

We look at reports and may warn a player, change or hide their name, remove them from a table, take back Claps gained by breaking the rules, or ban them from online play, if we reasonably believe the rules were broken. Bans apply to the player, not just the name.

The game and Claps

ClapOut is free to play. There are no purchases in this app.
Claps are the game's virtual currency. You get them free in the game, for example a daily allowance and optional rewarded videos. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or traded.
We may change the game, its cards, house rules and rewards, and correct a balance that is wrong because of an error or abuse.
Optional rewarded videos are served by Google AdMob, and only play when you press WATCH; see the privacy policy.

Your name

The name you choose is shown to the other players at your table. You give us the right to store, show and send it as far as we need to run the game. We may change or hide a name that breaks the table rules.

Our game

ClapOut, its name, its cards and card names, its art, sounds, text and code belong to HAYE CO or to those who licensed their work to us (credited in the app under About & privacy). You may play the game for your own enjoyment; you may not copy, sell or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows.

Safety in mixed reality

Play in a clear space, stay aware of your surroundings, and take a break if you feel unwell or tired. Follow the safety guidance of your glasses or headset.

No warranty and our liability

We work to keep ClapOut running well, but it is provided "as is" and "as available"; a table may drop or a game may be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, Claps or progress. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending and deleting

You can stop playing at any time, and delete your data from the app (About & privacy, DELETE MY DATA) or as explained at clapout.app/delete-data. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the game.
