Delete my ClapOut data

ClapOut is made by HAYE CO. You can delete the data ClapOut keeps about you at any time, from the app or from this page. Deleting is free and cannot be undone.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open ClapOut on your glasses or headset.
  2. In the lobby, open About & privacy.
  3. Press DELETE MY DATA and confirm.

Our server deletes your data at once, and the app clears what it keeps on your device. You start fresh with a new player id the next time you play.

By email

Can't open the app any more, or played in a web browser? Ask us by email and we will delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email. Tell us the name you play under and, if you can, the first characters of your player id (shown under About & privacy in the app). If you signed in on the website, use the email address you signed in with, or tell us what it is.

This opens your own email app with the request filled in; nothing is sent until you send that email. Or write to connect@mikehaye.com yourself.

What is deleted

DeletedKept, and for how long
Your name, player id, level, rank and XP, your Claps, your gameplay events, and (website only) your sign-in accountReports and any ban that came of them stay for 1 year, so a ban cannot be dodged by deleting. Website purchase records stay as long as accounting law requires.
What the app keeps on your device: your name, player id, age answer, block list and settingsServer logs (IP address, request times) expire on their own after 30 days.

Voice chat is never recorded, so there is no voice to delete. Hand tracking and scans of your room never leave your device. More in the privacy policy (app) and privacy policy (website).
